What COVID-related Safety Measures Should I Take to Prepare for my Appointment?
The safety of our staff and patients is our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. To help provide the safest possible environment for everyone, our Boston dentist has updated many of its procedures and protocols around patient appointments.
There are several important steps you can take to prepare for your appointment.
Use good judgment
The first step is determining whether you should come to your appointment as scheduled or if you should postpone it to a later time. Please call us to reschedule your appointment if:
- You are experiencing any flu-like symptoms
- You have traveled outside of the US in the past 14 days
Come to your appointment on your own
Currently, only one patient at a time is permitted inside the clinic for an appointment. Please do not bring anyone else with you. In the case of the appointment being for a minor or for an adult who requires assistance, one additional adult is allowed in the clinic with them.
Complete a screening
When you arrive at the clinic, we will request to take your temperature. We will also ask you a series of COVID-19 screening questions.
Follow safety measures
It’s important that you follow all prescribed safety measures at the clinic. These include wearing a mask or face covering, keeping a social distance of six feet, and following all the posted signage in the clinic.
Use hand sanitizer
Before you are called to the treatment area for your appointment, you will be asked to apply hand sanitizer.
